Our Team - Diane Pacheco

What is your full name and why were you named it? Diane Yvonne Pacheco – my mom’s best friend was named Diana (don’t ask me why an ‘e’ and not an  ‘a’) and my middle because it was a saint’s name and my mom liked it.

What did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be an archaeologist for a long time and find Atlantis because I loved to read about lost civilizations and King Arthur.

Is there anything you have always wanted to do, but haven't? I have always wanted to do a cartwheel.

You can only eat one dish for the rest of your life? Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and salad.

What was your worst job? Working at Furr’s Cafeteria in the salad section. Even after washing it, I couldn’t get the smell out of my snazzy uniform.

What music video would you most like to be in? Ricky Martin’s “livin’ la vida loca” as long as I was Ricky’s love interest in the video!

What would your RAP name be? DeePac - kind of like TuPac

Favorite movie quote? Since the only movies I get to watch these days are on tv, from ‘The Sopranos’:

If you could have chosen your own name, what would it be? Something from out of a romance novel like Francesca or Anastasia; I used to read a lot of romance novels.
